Different Types of Plastic Drum Liners for Different Uses
Straight-side plastic drum liners are ideal for use with new metal, fiber, or plastic drums. These liners have smooth walls that make insertion simple and fast. They are at the highest end of the spectrum for product recovery and can be reused over time with similar substances.
Pleated-side plastic drum liners are those that have an accordion wall that can shrink or grow to fit drums of different vertical heights. These are designed for use with reconditioned or recycled plastic or metal drums. Unlike straight-side plastic drum liners, though, they cannot be used on their own. Finally, anti-static liners are pink in color (as opposed to white like the other two) and are created using a special static-dissipating agent. These liners can be used with all types of drums and are indicated for use in areas with flammable substances.
